Mammoth Construction was founded by Arthur F. McCarthy in 1998 on Staten Island, New York. A year later, after opening the company, Arthur decided to join forces with his father, Arthur McCarthy Sr., creating the ultimate father-son team. The father-son duo were unstoppable in the construction industry creating one of the best general contractors of New York City. Since the passing of Arthur McCarthy Sr. in 2009, Arthur C. McCarthy joined the family owned business and continues the father-son legacy.  Mammoth takes pride in being a family owned business. Since the opening of Mammoth Construction in 1998, we have successfully completed 100s of construction projects from residential to commercial properties, from renovations to new buildings. Some of our projects have won awards received from the Chamber of Commerce of Staten Island, NY. We also received the highest award given to any commercial builder for the Angiuli/Gentile Building which won the Chairman's Award in 2018. As Mammoth continues to grow  with the construction industry we recently moved to a newly renovated office space in the industrial area along Arthur Kill Road of Staten Island. Arthur recently had a proud father moment when his daughter Meredith McCarthy joined the family business. With a degree from FIT, Meredith is joining forces with her dad and brother to help with interior design aspect of our a projects. As a family owned business we continue to strive for excellence.
